depends on if there is plenty of walking space around the outside of the pool or not, so you don't have to walk on the edge of the roof.

Rooftop swimming pools are constructed by using a liner.

A liner is used instead of cement because it weighs less and it is strong. It has to withstand heavy impact in order to be rooftop approved. The ceiling is then reinforced and an access area is created so that routine inspections can be performed.

Furniture and plants on rooftops are required to be bolted to the roof if they fall below weight limits. On rooftop pools that do not have bolted furniture, it is carted in and out each day.

dont they usually have a surounding wall to keep everything on the roof including the people

and the construction of leakproof water containers or tanks ,is very advanced by now ,

What about the millions of water towers that are very high up where they keep the cities or vilages water supplies

besides we got a collection of ends of the world including global warming and an impending nuclear war to worry about ,as well as old age

Are rooftop swimming pools safe?
I asked this earlier but no answers. How do they construct rooftop swimming pools so that the water does not leak to the apartments below? I'd be somewhat scared to have all that water overhead. Also, how do they keep the furniture and potted plants secured so that they don't fall to the street or the balconies below? My ground level patio furniture and potted plants tend to topple over or blow away during mild storms. So how do these people defy gravity or do they also have mishaps sometimes?
