Here's what you need to do…
1. Work and collect unemployment from the government.
2. Invest into some solar technology.
3. Turn your power meter backwards and
4. Start demanding they pay you for the power you make.

Just hook it up to your neighbors water and power line. That should eliminate your costs completely. Screw your neighbors anyway. They probably suck.

Why don't you look up the manufacturer and call them? They would know. Srsly.

My hunch is that you also drain the pipes, but I don't know how that would work. But it certainly can be done — most people with hot tubs around here shut them down for the winter.
